Overview
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a national emergency preparedness program. The CERT course is a free 25-hour program plus a final skills exercise offered to Greene County Citizens 18 years of age and older which provides basic training of emergency response skills that are essential in the critical time after a disaster and before emergency responders arrive on the scene. Instructors will provide hands-on training in such areas as:

Meetings
Greene CERT meets the 3rd Thursday every month at 1800 (6:00 PM) at the Stanardsville Station located at 126 Main Street. The meeting is open to all Greene County residents even if you aren’t trained in CERT currently, but interested in joining.
